There is access to the Klamath River Country Estates community; 20 acre Campground Facility which includes 4,000 feet of Klamath River frontage and a number of amenities available to property owners. The campground has full RV hookups, along and near the Klamath River, a club house, laundry facility and swimming pool. The home owners association owns 8 travel trailers, located in the campground, that can be rented on a first come, first serve basis for a nominal charge (Rented to property owners only). There are currently about 270 established residential houses throughout the development. The HOA fee goes into the amenities and road maintenance.

Yreka is the County Seat for Siskiyou County and is located approximately 15 miles from the land. In Yreka you will find professional services, doctors, hospitals, and shopping with major stores, such as Wal-Mart. The land is located about 4 miles east of Interstate 5. Approximately three miles upstream from the land is the Iron Gate Reservoir and one of California's State Fish Hatcheries. Further upstream, about 9 miles, is Copco Lake. The area is known for its outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, off roading, water skiing and bird watching. Iron Gate Reservoir, Copco lakes and the Klamath River offer tremendous Trout and Salmon fishing. Wildlife abounds in this area with deer sometimes more common than people. Bobcat, Mountain Lion, Lynx, Coyotes, Wild Turkeys, and Bald Eagles are not uncommon sights.
